I’m trying to remember the year (date as well) Jim Van Sickle left WNEW to come to work for me at Channel 7 (I was news director there 1965-68). He lasted only a very short time..his great voice skills not translating into on screen visual appeal. 1967 comes to mind…but I defer to WNEW vets of that era. My email addess is edesilverman@aol.com.
