9/11 was quite an experience for me.
I was working for the “Nightly Business Report” on PBS, whose NY Bureau was at 74 Trinity Place, just a few city blocks south of the Towers.
I saw the footage of the first plane hitting on the office’s TV screen. Little did I know that I would witness from one of our office windows the 2nd plane hit!!
Thank God it was a beautiful day weather wise because I ended up having to walk home to East 85th St.
